The MP§2257 plugin module was designed to assist
MAS™ and MPA3™ users to cope with the demanding recordkeeping requirements
imposed by U.S. Criminal Code 18 U.S.C.
Section 2257, which effectively requires that adult content makers
and distributors maintain a searchable database of model identification
information for every adult model displayed. If you are unaware
of how these regulations apply to you, please obtain legal advice
from a capable adult industry attorney. In addition to helping maintain
legal compliance, the MP§2257 plugin module provides webmasters
will detailed information that helps organize, manage, and develop
a members area..
The module will be installed for free to all new and existing customers (upon request).
The major features of the module are:
- Creating and maintaining a Models records database, including real name, screen names, country of citizenship, SSN, ID snapshots and other documents.
- Maintaining a structured list of resource URLs (images and videos), and the corresponding links between each resource and the models portrayed.
The URLs are grouped as content sets, each one having a brief title and description, date of production and link to the Content Producer (Custodian of records).
- Fast and convinient operation. Models can be assigned to individual images/videos, as well as to all the images/videos inside a content set (or a group of sets).
- Multiple models per single image/video.
- Seemless integration with MAS™. The Content List in MAS™ is highlighting the sets which have not been tagged with 2257 info yet and sends them directly to the MP2257 module. No need to copy&paste anything. Upon content editions/deletions from MAS™, the information is automatically syncronized with the MP2257 database.
- Integration with MPA3™. Features Import of URL lists for hosted galleries, pic of the day and gallery of the day. Ability for back-linking, enabling MPA3™ to pull model records information for the content it displays.
- Manual entry enabled. Besides the integrated dataflow with MAS™ and MPA3™, the MP2257 module allows manually adding URLs and content sets and assigning them to models - best for tagging static content like banners, ads and design graphics.
- Spidering function for easier manual entry of images. Enter the URL of your page, and the module will parse the page and display all images found - offering a one-click operation to add them to the 2257 database and assign models.
- Automatically handles shared content. No matter if you are displaying the same content from one or multiple domains (using MAS™ to share), the MP2257 module will know all the correct URLs, without need to enter URLs and assign them to models for each domain you've used them at.
- Easy backup & archiving. The system is designed with the ability for archiving all the info, so that you would be able to answer the question 'Who was the model at an URL which was active last year' - as required by the regulations.
- Export & Print. Easily export tables or print your data for hard-copy backup or transfer to other applications.
- Powerful and convinient search functions.
MP2257 is intended to serve the paysite owner; its interface and database are not publicly available, but allowed only to authorized personnel.
It enables the owner with 3 types of searches, satisfying all needs.
Searching the 2257 database is convenient not only for the purpose
of legal compliance, but also for improving your members areas -
knowing perfectly well how many models you have and where they have
been published.
- Search by URL
Upon entering an URL (URI), the system displays the image/video found at this location, the list of featured models, the set title, description, date of production, link to the Content Producer. The age of each model at the time of production is calculated automatically. By clicking the model's name you can view detailed information and IDs about her(him).
- Search by Model
You can search for parts of the real name or screen names of a model, using extended search syntax with wildcards and include/exclude operators (like Google). Or, you could simply list all available models whose name starts with a given letter. The system displays list of found models, which is expandable to a model info page. The models page displays the personal info, IDs, and list of all content sets and all URLs where images/videos with that model were found.
- Search by Content Set (Video Scene).
All the 2257 info for a content set is at your fingertips, using the powerfull searching and filtering options of the MAS™ Content List. By clicking a link the system will list all the files (URLs) in that set and all models assigned, as well as the Content Producer and Release date.
