Industry companies are becoming more careful and frugal out of necessity in these tough economical times. Companies are representing themselves less at the industry shows, they're reducing their extravagant marketing and they are pushing every tech dollar as far as they can. This all makes good business sense, and I want to give my newsletter intro over to some strategies that Mansion Productions has been utilizing to great benefit.
- Automate and streamline what you can: Things are tight everywhere but we still need to thrive. One way to improve your business is to automate time consuming tasks that could be done by code instead. A lot of businesses are still doing hand updates because that's just how they have done them in the past. With the economy how it is, no one can really afford that luxury when perfectly viable automated solutions are so readily available. Take a look at your time consuming practices. - Keep your technology current: In the modern internet market with our tech savvy surfers, you need to keep your sites designed cleanly and your back-end current. In the end, your business is about turning traffic into money, so the program pieces that directly facilitate your transactions are not where to scrimp and pinch your pennies.
- Reinforce your business connections: Regardless of economic variables, people like to work with others in the industry they know and trust. Reconnecting with your business associates and industry contacts is free and may strengthen needed ties or rekindle the interest of a valuable affiliate.
- Take the long view: When the economy is bad it is easy to get caught up in what your numbers look like now and how much your business may be hurting. This can be very detrimental to the future of your enterprise. When you make decisions, try to project your vision down the road and take the long view. Everyone is hurting now, so instead of easing your current business pains, adapt to them, but make the correct decisions to leave them behind and grow in the future.

Gone are the times when you could throw a site live and ride it to riches. Adaptability and ingenuity are key in our current times. T3Report is announcing the release of Affiliate Analysis 1.0 to all MPA3 customers. T3Report has been used by Affiliate Managers to find the good affiliates of their competitors. The new Affiliate Analysis has been created to focus on improving traffic from existing affiliates.
Brandon "Fight the Patent" Shalton, founder of T3Report said that "Affiliate Managers can use Affiliate Analysis to see which pages of the affiliate does not have a link to their program, but has incoming web links. By looking at the referring pages to the affiliates' pages, the Affiliate Manager can determine if the affiliate should have their link on those pages. Since the affiliate ID is embedded in the URL, the Affiliate Manager can easily lookup the webmaster and send them an email to suggest how they could improve traffic to the program."
