Here you can see the available properties for each movie. Each movie may be assigned multiple categories, multiple producers and directors, short description and longer, html-enabled synopsis, keywords (searchable), product codes and prices (used together with the shopping cart module), and various other properties which can be printed on the site. By default each movie supports 3 cover images, which are kept in the system in 3 image sizes (small/medium/big) - you upload only the big one, the system makes the others. Also here you assign the models featured in the movie, the content sets (which may be photo galleries or video scenes), and also reviews.

Yes, you could use the Content Management Module of the system for a backend of a video site (either scene or DVD based). You can easily create 2 versions of the site - non-members (full browsing options, thumbnails, trailers) and members (with video view/download options). Specific billing & authentication module for PPV/VOD is not included but it could be integrated upon a custom request - contact Mansion Productions directly for more information on this.

Also at this same page you can choose the template the system would use when building the movie details page. You can choose from more than one template, and you can select different templates for each site on which the movie will be published (the VIST program supports unlimited number of sites using the same database and backend;) or the other typical usage is to assign one template to be used at the free preview area of the site, and another - in the members only area.

Here you define the properties for each model, and also select on which movies this model appears (the same could be done from the movie side too). You may assign content sets with preview material specific to this model, and you can even define a different face image (thumbnail) to be used per each different movie where this model appears.

This is the area where you define the templates to be used when building the movies, models, producers, directors, content pages. You can see the yellow highlighted words in [brackets] - these are some of the custom tags which make up the template language of the VIST program. Some of these tags are simply replaced with the respective property from the database, others (like [model] here) are more complex and return a whole piece of html (also templateable) containing other tags. This method is somehow replacing the loops technology used in other CMS and template systems. The template can be completely edited in a visual app like Dreamweaver before breaking it down and putting into the VIST editor.

This is the area where you create the sections in the site (the main pages - home, category listing etc.), along with their templates. Here you also define what should be displayed on that page - what type of content, what categories, in which order. If you stare at the template, you will see one of the special tags [include:.......] which works like php/shtml includes, allowing different commonly used areas of the site layout to be nested within other pages. The generated sections are either one-page (home-style, listing for example newest updates from different categories), or multi-page lists, or broken down by first letter, for categories having lots of items Example

The other options from the menu are for adding and describing content sets (photo galleries and videos, which have to be uploaded to a centralized content pool, then the software is scanning the directories and allows to add them into the database), for defining directors, producers, news, reviews, categories, admin accounts allowed to use the program, etc. And also the shopping cart backend functions.
