Yes, you could use the Content Management Module of the system for a backend of a video site (either scene or DVD based). You can easily create 2 versions of the site - non-members (full browsing options, thumbnails, trailers) and members (with video view/download options). Specific billing & authentication module for PPV/VOD is not included but it could be integrated upon a custom request - contact Mansion Productions directly for more information on this.

The process is not fully automated, i.e. you have to create one base site (white-labeled) first, then you can easily create versions of it branded with the affiliate's skin (CSS styles and design graphics, but in the same template/layout). The affiliate store will be on a subdomain of the main site (http://affiliatename.maindomain.com) - hosted on the same server where VIST is, and affiliates can either use this directly, or include it in a iframe on their own site.

- once a customer hits the VIST-driven store through a MPA3 referral link, the MPA3 customer ID is stored and kept on the VIST side, so that the mpa3 database is not overloaded with queries on each page view while the customer is browsing the store
- once a sale is confirmed by the billing processor, the total amount is reported from VIST to MPA3 so that the refering webmaster can get credit
- VIST is reporting only the pure cost of the purchased products, without the shipping & taxes surcharges (no commissions paid out on these)
- all VIST products fall into one of 3 commission types - own products, 3-rd party (reseller) products, no commissions. VIST reports the amounts gained through purchases of the first 2 types of products as separate values to MPA3, so that the correct commission percentages can be applied to both of them. Different commision %'s can be set in MPA3 for the own and 3rd party products, and also per webmaster, per site etc.

You will just not make use of the extended features the cms module provides for DVDs - like relations to pornstars, directors, movie-specific fields etc. But otherwise there is no problem - put your other items in another category, aside from the DVDs and you're all good.
